Dr. Erisa Sam is from Southern California. She was born to a family of physicians who instilled in her and nurtured her passion to pursue dentistry since childhood. She received her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Irvine, graduating among the top students of her class.
During her undergraduate career, she was a research intern at the Beckman Laser Institute and spent a summer at Harvard University. She has presented her research in various conferences and authored publications in several peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Sam then followed her passion for dentistry at Midwestern University, where she trained in general and cosmetic dentistry, implantology, endodontics, laser dentistry, Invisalign, and CAD/CAM. Her outstanding performance for bringing in technology to patient care earned her the Digital Dentistry Award two years in a row.
Dr. Sam is passionate about helping people in need. She has taken every opportunity to volunteer at events, such as free dental care for veterans, Give Kids a Smile, and at homeless shelters. During these experiences, she not only fulfilled her passion in helping the vulnerable population, but was also able to master dental skills in resource-limited settings.
Dr. Sam is happily married to her best friend, who is a physician. They enjoy spending time with their new born daughter Avissa, family and friends, trying new foods, and traveling.
Dr. Villacis was born in Ecuador and raised in Miami, Florida. He grew up playing soccer competitively while attending Barbara Sr. High School. Dr. Villacis attended Florida International University, where he received his bachelor's degree in Biology and realized his passion for healthcare. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland.
Upon graduating, he worked in private practice for several years in Baltimore, where he honed his skills in restorative dentistry and pediatric care. During this time, Dr. Villacis helped establish the Limited Income Uninsured Children Program in Maryland to give underserved children access to dental care.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Villacis loves practicing jiujitsu, working out, and spending time with his wife and German Shepherd.
Originally from India, Dr. Ardeshana is known as just “Dr. A.” He has been with Dental Care of Boca Raton since 2013. Dr. A graduated with honors from dental school in India. After practicing dentistry for a few years, he moved to the United States where he continued his dental study at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, one of the most advanced and prestigious universities in the nation. He graduated first in his class.
While at dental school, he had hands-on training with the most advanced and cutting-edge techniques, allowing him to offer optimal treatment in a comfortable manner.
He currently has more than 10 years of clinical experience and continues to receive more education as he takes courses in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and advanced implant dentistry. He is very experienced with root canal therapy, as well as surgical procedures. Dr. Ardeshana’s philosophy is centered around enhancing the lives of his patients by achieving the beautiful and functional smile they desire with the most advanced, conservative and proven techniques.
He is Board Certified in the state of Florida and he is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Ardeshana lives in Davie with his lovely wife, Mona, and young daughter. He loves going to the beach to enjoy water sports and the beautiful weather. In his free time, he can also be found spending precious time with his daughter, Maahi.
